Creating an Energy Healing Morning (or Night!) Routine

As humans, a few things are true for us every day: we wake up, we engage in our own special blend of rituals and practices (eating, moving, chores, work, family, creativity), and we go to sleep. In essence, we are cyclical beings careening through our solar system at 67,000 miles per hour, deeply tied to the daily, monthly, and yearly cycles of the sun, the moon, and the seasons.

As such, routines and rituals are natural and healthy for us—they help us feel a sense of control over our lives (which is soothing for our minds), maintain beneficial habits, and connect with ourselves (and others). Here at The Healing Mind App, we are interested in healing and maintaining the subtle energy bodies through the power of the subconscious mind. We believe that by taking 15-20 minutes out of your day—even if it’s just a few times per week—to listen to an energy healing audio in our app, you can see improvements in your physical, mental, and energetic health.

We recommend creating your morning or night routine around an energy healing audio because your subconscious mind is at its most receptive when you first wake up and before you go to sleep. When we start and/or end our day by tuning into our bodies and using our minds to help clear, heal, and upgrade our energy, we feel at ease mentally. When we start the day with a clear mind that has already been programmed to feel confident and relaxed, we take this perspective with us into our day. And, if we choose to take time at night to clear away the sludge of the day, we go to sleep feeling ready to rest.

So, how do you build an energy healing routine or ritual that works for you? Here is what we have learned from successfully creating morning and/or nightly energy healing routines that are comforting, joyous, and productive:

  1. Don’t force yourself to do anything you don’t want to do

Our routines have to feel good to us. There is no one way to successfully engage in a routine or practice, and we can’t always borrow someone else’s routine and expect it will work for us.

Here are some things to consider when designing your rituals:

  • Do you benefit more when you do energy healing in the morning, or at night?

  • Do you like to do the same thing every day, or switch it up?

  • Do you like to move while you listen to your audios, or lie down?

  • Do you like to decide which audio to listen to ahead of time, or in the moment?

According to this study, the power of a ritual isn’t in doing the exact same thing over and over; instead, it is in doing something with intention.

2. Keep it simple

The most effective routines and rituals are the simplest, seamlessly blending into daily life. Your morning or evening routine can be as straightforward as drinking a cup of tea while listening to a subliminal audio or for 15 minutes, writing one page in your journal while listening to one of the Healing Mind Infusion audios, or listening to our popular High Vibe Mornings meditation under your favorite blanket on the couch. Your daily ritual does not have to be long and drawn out!

3. Make it easy

As James Clear says in his book Atomic Habits, “you don’t rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” What this basically means is that we are much more likely to create a habit or incorporate a ritual into our daily lives when the structures are already in place to help us succeed. If a routine is hard to accomplish, we will not likely succeed in the long run by relying on willpower alone.

How can you make your routine easy? Maybe you:

  • Have a designated place where you always do your energy healing audio and journaling, and you prepare it the night before

  • Keep your headphones and eye pillow on a tray, so you always know where to find them

  • Always prepare the same tea before you listen to your audio, which subconsciously signals to your body that it’s time to get ready for your energy healing session

The point is for your routine to be easy to incorporate into your life, so you don’t feel stressed or have to push yourself to complete it.

Here are some of our team’s routines:

Morgan’s Routine

One thing I have noticed over the years is that my routine shifts seasonally - whether it’s within the year itself or even a season of life. When my son was young, I found it very difficult to have a routine. But as he’s getting older and in school, routines are becoming easier. I find my routine to be a sort of “well-being checklist.”

Checking off all of the things that are critical to my well-being impacts my ability to reach my goals in life. I don’t always do things in the same order, but there are key things that I do every day that make all the difference. After waking up and eating breakfast with my son, I do an at-home workout. My workouts feel like such great energetic self-care as they move stagnant energy. One of my favorite things to do is use my rebounder! Afterward, I shower and get ready for the day. Showers are actually great energetic cleanses, too! Especially if you set the intention of clearing your auric field while in the water.

Then I take my daily supplements and make my favorite iced chicory coffee and add in probiotics, collagen, and Armra colostrum. Our biology highly impacts our emotional and mental state, which affects our overall energy, so it’s very important to prioritize our physical well-being. After dropping off my son for school, I come home and meditate. Meditation, whether silent or guided, is an incredible tool for energetic self-care.

Finally, I make sure to take a walk every day. The natural movement of my body allows for my energy to flow and is a great time for me to realign my energy.

Rachel’s Routine

I always make sure my routines and practices feel natural and open —instead of forcing myself to do a certain thing, I allow my energy to go where it wants to go, and I build a routine off of that!

I don’t always do things at the same time or in the same order, but generally, I start every morning with a cup of green tea. I try not to look at my phone or email while I spend twenty minutes watching an energizing or inspiring YouTube video or reading a book that sparks creativity. I am not an early riser, so I take mornings slow.

Once I’ve finished my tea, I will write a page in my journal while I listen to subliminal audios or an Energy Infusion from The Healing Mind™ App. I like to revisit this routine again in the evening after I’ve done most of my work, when I will write some more in my journal and lie down and listen to a full energy healing audio.

Ashley’s Routine

Similar to Rachel, I allow my energy to go where it is called to go.

After doing my morning routine with my kids, I return from school drop-off to have a cup of coffee and sit in silence for a couple of minutes followed by doing work since I find myself my most creative in the morning.

Depending on the season when I am working between projects is when I like to go outside for a walk and listen to Healing Mind™ App,  I allow my intuition to guide me to choose my audio that day.  Once I am done listening I like to voice record any thoughts or feelings that may have arised during listening or use the journaling within the app.

To end my day I like to relisten to my audio recordings followed by listening to the End of Day or Technology Cleanse in the Healing Mind™ App.

Our subscribers told us that they love to listen to energy healing audios in the app after they’ve gotten through the chaos of getting their kids ready and dropped off at school, before bed, and after working out.

So, what is your morning routine?
